So I finally got around to doing some lino-cuts and printing in the studio this week. It's so much fun and the possibilities for different prints and colour ways seems endless. I really like the process of creating repeat patterns from one small lino-cut and of course I couldn't quite manage a series without a bird sneaking it's way in!

The Grand Depart of the Tour de France is fast approaching in Yorkshire and the festive atmosphere is gaining momentum. I've never seen so much bunting in my hometown of Holmfirth, it is a sea of red spots and yellow bikes.
Away from the bright colours of the bikes and the bunting I decided to produce a slightly calmer and more typical Yorkshire cycling scene with my 'Peaks and Troughs' giclee print.
A limited edition of only 100 prints are available to purchase now from my online store. One click here and you're there!
Each print is ready to frame with a signed and edition mount. The areas of map included are Huddersfield and Holmfirth and going East to Barnsley.

Apologies for the late post regarding the fair this weekend. There will be an amazing selection of artists and designers working in print selling their work. With a cafe on site and live print demonstrations it's going to be a great day.

I was recently asked to produce a commission of a Kookaburra, a lovely Australian Kingfisher.. I usually only work with images of British birds so this was a nice change.
I'm currently working on some new ideas for the Holmfirth Art Market so make sure you pop down on Sunday 30th June to see if there are any more surprise birds on my stand!
